The 2025 GMC Terrain marks a significant evolution in GMC's compact SUV lineup, introducing a fresh design, enhanced technology, and refined performance. This third-generation model, unveiled in August 2024, builds upon its predecessors while incorporating modern features to meet the demands of today's drivers.

The 2025 Terrain showcases a more rugged and truck-like appearance, aligning with GMC's design language. Key exterior updates include:

  • Distinctive Grille and Lighting: A redesigned grille and C-shaped LED headlamps and taillamps give the Terrain a bold presence.

  • Two-Tone Roof Option: For the first time, the Terrain offers an available two-tone roof in colors like Sterling Metallic or Ebony Twilight Metallic.

  • Wheel Options: Standard 17-inch wheels are complemented by available 19-inch and 20-inch wheels, depending on the trim level.

These design elements contribute to a more dynamic and upscale appearance, setting the Terrain apart in the compact SUV segment.

Fuel economy estimates are approximately 27 mpg combined for FWD models and 25 mpg for AWD models. Towing capacity is up to 1,500 pounds, suitable for light recreational use.
